StudentProspector is one of the best resources a prospective student can use for getting into college.

StudentProspector can help them find a college or can have schools search for them. Students receive advice on starting their first year at school, going home for the first time, surviving final exams, learning about college scholarship grants, etc.

Have you noticed our website just experienced a re-imagining? First and foremost, you'll notice the redesign. The page is easy on the eyes, it's easy to navigate, and it offers helpful hints and tips at the bottom. Additionally, there is a clear place to start: for all students, if you focus your attention on the left of the StudentProspector homepage, you will notice a drop-down menu asking you which level of degree you are after. This will take you directly to the appropriate page and sign-up sheet.

Directly under this drop-down menu is a list to StudentProspector's new blog. If you want to stay up to date on all the latest happenings with StudentProspector and the world of higher education recruitment, stay tuned to this blog.

Next, let your eyes scroll across the links at the top of the page. Scholarships takes you to a page with advice on how to afford college, like information on scholarships, fellowships and grants, and more. If you want to know more about affording college, click on the next link, Financial Aid, which offers information on...financial aid.

The next link is College Planning, and is getting its own massive overhaul. While eventually it will be a site in itself, telling a prospective student everything he or she needs to know about going to college (from applying to graduating), it is currently an archive of original articles on writing the perfect resume, taking the SATs, surviving that first holiday break back home, and other important tidbits students and advisors can use.

The next link is another path to get you to the Blog, then there is a nice About Us page, followed by Events, which is an invaluable calendar of upcoming events that students, advisors, and recruiters should consider attending. Then there is a Sign Up page, which gives detailed information on each level of schooling with which StudentProspector works. And finally, there is College Programs. This link takes a user to our Featured School section. Featured Schools are colleges and universities that get a little extra visibility in the eyes of prospective students looking for their ideal higher education institution. This site is not only helpful for them, but great for students who can use the information presented on this page to make an informed decision about where they should seek their degree. Plus, it gives them a chance to become a Featured Student.
